Using a standard Fast Ethernet cable, the DCS-2000 easily connects to your existing network using the included CAT5 Fast Ethernet networking cable. Bundled Software for Multi-Camera Monitoring and Management The DCS-2000 includes IP Surveillance software which allows you to control all of the DCS-2000 cameras on your LAN from one location. You can view up to 16 cameras on one screen,supports manual and scheduled recording on your hard drive, and supports motion detection to trigger automatic recording and sending email alerts. Streaming Video at up to 30 Frames Per Second The DCS-2000 uses MPEG4 Short Header Mode to stream live video at up to 30 frames per second for real-time viewing.
